Travis Crawford is a Partner with Jones Gill Porter Crawford & Crawford, LLP and is Board Certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  After graduating from the University of Texas – Austin, he began his career in the oil business as a roustabout and roughneck on an offshore drilling platform in the Gulf of Mexico.  From there, he moved onshore where he began working as an independent landman throughout East and South Texas, negotiating and buying leases, running title, and conducting due diligence.  He continued to work as a landman while attending South Texas College of Law until he graduated in 2010.

Travis has focused his practice on representing exploration and production companies and uses his widespread industry experience to advise clients regarding operations issues, acquisitions and divestitures, surface and mineral title issues, and other transactional and litigation matters throughout the State of Texas.  Travis also advises corporate clients on entity structuring and governance, contract drafting and negotiation, and compliance and regulatory issues.  Travis can be reached at 713-652-4068 or [email protected].
